Sounds this issue similar to you: you are listening to a long play list but don't know the title or the artist begin played. Well you could look at the iPhone/iPod but what to do if the iPod is in your pocket, it's freezing cold or what ever. In such a situation it would be great to have iPod telling you what it's playing.
